Projects to Do or View at our 2013 Seattle Mini Maker Fair Table

TO DO

Easy Tops
Simple tops, easy to decorate, using plain cardboard and sharpened pencils.

Rubber Band Racers
With soda cans and rubber bands, create "powered" race cars.

Paper Airplanes and Launchers
Include a paper clip hook on your paper airplane, and you can power launch it with a rubber band launcher.

Indoor Helicopter
Extraordinarily simple (just a small piece of paper and a paper clip), but also extraordinarily fun!

Marble Runs
Exercise your creativity in turning ordinary recycling into adventurous marble runs.

Loo Tube Projects
They're normally thrown away or recycled, but are wonderfully versatile in a wide variety of crafts.

Baskets From Bags, Maps and Magazines
Take old maps, paper grocery bags, and magazines and turn them into useful and fun baskets.

Maracas
Easy noisemakers from household items.

Origami
Take those same magazines and maps and turn them into works of origami art.

Plarn
Instead of contributing to landfill and ocean waste, create something new from your plastic grocery bags.

Repurposed T-Shirts
There are literally hundreds of uses for used T-shirts.  We will only showcase a few, such as bags and yarn.

Stamps from Corks and Bottle Tops
Fun and easy!  Take foam stickers and attach them to corks or bottle tops - instant stamp set.

Recycled Containers + Crochet = Handy Storage Containers
Nifty storage containers made from plastic recycling, some yarn, and a hole punch.

Newspapers Into Bags
If you'd like to take home anything you've made at our table, you're going to have to make a bag for that!

Banjo
Another fun and easy noisemaker - a classic.
